A teacher, performer and choreographer, Neesha Jhaveri is a disciple of late Pt. Hazarilalji and Smt. Sunayana Hazarilal, both doyens of Jankiprasad Kathak school of Banaras Gharana. A recipient of the National Scholarship in 1995 from the Government of India, she has performed at Pallavotsava in Mysore and Kathak Mahotsava in Jaipur in the year 2000.

After moving to Hong Kong in 2001, she continued with her passion and became one of the founder members of Sri Shakti Academy in 2003, actively participating in the original productions. Along with her students, she participated at various festivals organized by the Hong Kong Government like Harbin Ice Festival (2014), Asia Ethnic Cultural Festival (2017 - 2019). She performed (solo and group with her students) at the 69th, 70th and 71st India’s Republic Day celebrations organized by the Indian Consulate in Hong Kong. She and her troupe have also been invited to perform in Shanghai (2013), Macao (2014) and Taiwan (2017 – 2019).

Neesha performed in Mumbai at the National Centre for Performing Arts and Nehru Centre in 2016 and 2018 respectively at the celebrations in memory of her guru Late Pt. Hazarilalji. She was also invited by Natawari to perform at the 20th Kala Ghoda Festival 2019 in Mumbai. In February 2020, she alongside her teacher Padmashree Sunayana Hazarilal performed at the Rabindra Natya Mandir, Mumbai.
